“Send Me” Keni is a decorated U.S. Army Rangers Veteran of the 1993 “Black Hawk Down” Mission in Mogadishu. His book Get It On describes the mission, which changed the course of his life. Drawing from his battlefield experiences, Keni inspires people to achieve greatness, stressing the importance of outstanding leadership. He inspires all to achieve their absolute best while answering God’s call for greater purpose in life. |
Keni carries a guitar rather than a rifle now, as he writes and records Country music. His band Cornbread released several albums, including Flags of the Fathers: A Soldier’s Story, which contained two Billboard Country Music hits. Keni is a spokesperson for the Hero Fund of the Special Operations Warrior Foundation, which awards college scholarships and financial aid to the children of deceased or wounded Special Operations soldiers
