Battle Creek is fortunate to have restaurants and shopping districts
that become part of the Christmas festivities with special shopping hours
and lighting displays. The downtown area features Clara's on the River
- a refurbished train station overlooking the Battle Creek River; unique
shops and eateries in McCamly Place and McCamly Plaza Hotel; and small retail
shops and restaurants along Michigan Avenue in the heart of downtown.
The
Lakeview shopping district, including Lakeview Square Mall, is home to a
variety of gift shops, restaurants - including Cracker Barrel Old Country
Store, and many major retailers together with Hudson's and Witmark. Visitors
should also plan to stop by Horrockís Christmas store near the downtown
area where shopping is a delight for all!
